Swirlnet A/S. Danventures' first portfolio company is Swirlnet A/S, who has developed the "Swirl", an all-in-one 1 oz heart rate monitor, music player and virtual personal trainer.
Among other things, Swirl is utilized in the "SwirlSpin" fitness club solution which enables members to view their spinning workout and see their own intensity goals and actual heart rate on a large screen.
Akte Immobilen GmbH. Danventures owns 50% of the german company Akte Immobilen GmbH. The purpose of the company is to invest and develop realty-projects in Germany. Currently involved in 2 projects south of Berlin.
Russian Forest Industry ApS. The company has a russian ZAO daughter-company based in the city of UFA in Russia which is currently negotiating the take-over of a large forest-area in the Ural mountains.
The deal, which is a 49-year lease-agreeement, is expected to be concluded during 2008. The company will seek to develop business with partners who are experienced in forestry.
Russian Wood Industry ApS. The company has expectations of overtaking approx. 40 hectares of industrial area south of Ufa, and will seek to develop the area with partners who have knowledge and experience in the industrial use of lumber.
Russian Building Industry ApS. The company has expectations of overtaking an area on which there will be constructed insulated houses, and will seek to develop the area with partners who have knowledge and experience in house-construction.
